Mark 9 1

King James Bible,
      Mark 9:1,And He said unto them,"Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

Holman Christian Standard Bible,
     Mark 9:1,Then He said to them,"I assure you; There are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God come in power.

New King James Bible,
      Mark 9:1, And He said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you that there are some standing here who will not taste death till they see the kingdom of God present with power.

     Most people believe Jesus ment that some of the deciples would not die until His return. BUT!! if you'll read the new testament books they tell us all, that they were all killed except for John. Note, he was the only one who stood at the cross, all the others fled the scean. If they were all dead except John, and he later died in prison, without seeing the return of Christ in all His glory, then when did they see Him present with power ?

     Matthew 17:1, Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John His brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves;
  2,and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became a white as the light.
  3,And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.
  4,Then Peter answered and said to Jesus,"Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
  5, While he was still speaking, behold a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him !!.

  This is the power,, of the kingdom of God,,that Jesus was talking about. This took place before all the deciples were killed.
