Lesson Six

Let's go over what the Bible says about the years from Abraham to Jesus. This time line is 2170 years. And according to Matthew:1-17, There are 42 generations from Abraham to Jesus, which gives you 51.666666 years per generation, and 51.666666 x 120 is 6200 years.

Now take the 6200 years and subtrct 2170 years from that, and you are left with 4030 years. From Adam to Noah, was 1056 years. Subtract that from 4030 and you are left with 2974 years. Take away the 500 years from Noah to Japheth, and we are left with 2474 years.

I said in the last lesson that Japheth, was born first, then Ham, and then Shem was born last. But, in Genesis:5-32, and Noah was five hundred years old , and Noah begot Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

So if the Bible says Noah begot Shem, Ham, and Japheth, then why do I say Shem was born last?? And Japheth first ?? I say this because that is what the Bible says, let me show you.

But first let's look at a few words.
Genealogy -- lineage the study of family.
Lineage--lineal descent from a common progenitor.
Lineal--consisting of or being in a direct line of ancestry.
Linear--relating to, resembling, or having a graph, that is a line and especially a straight line.

Does the Bible give us a study of the family of Godly men from Adam the common progenitor, all the way, straight through to Noah,Japheth,Ham then Shem ?? This is what the Bible says.

Genesis;10-1, Now this is the genealogy of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And the sons were born to them after the flood.

2 - The sons of Japheth were Gomer, Magog, Madai,Tubal,Meshech and Tiras.

Notice[Japheth was named first}.

6 - The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizram,Put, and Canaan.

21 - And children were born also to Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder.

22 - The sons of Shem were Elam,Asshur,Arphaxad,Lud and Aram.

This is what the Bible says, Japheth-Ham-Shem in genealogical order. 1 Chronicles;1 1-17, say the same thing.

Now here's more proof.

Genesis;11-10 - This is the genealogy of Shem: Shem was one-hundred years old , and begot Arphaxad two years after the flood.

Arphaxad, was born 2 years after the flood, but when was the flood??? We now know that Noah was born in the year 1056 ac. and that Japheth was born 500 years later in the year 1556. This makes Ham born in the year 1557, and Shem in the year 1558. Noah was 502 years old. When Shem was born.Let me show you.

Genesis;7-11, in the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

Noah being born in the year 1056 ac. and being 600 years old in the flood, puts the flood in the year 1656 ac.

1056 + 600 = 1656 years
Adam to Noah----1056 years.
Noah to Japheth--500 years.1056 + 500 = 1556.
Noah to Ham-------501 years.1056 + 501 = 1557.
Noah to Shem------502 years.1056 + 502 = 1558.
Shem to Arphaxad-100 years.1558 + 100 = 1658.
1656 + 2 = 1658. Arphaxad was born 2 years after the flood, and Shem was 100 years old.

Shem was chosen to carry out the Godly seed, that is why he is named first.

But what was the purpose of the flood?? What made God so angry at the world, that He would kill all air breathing animals, including His own creation?? Except what was led into the ark.

Genesis;6-5 - Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 - And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.

7 - So the Lord said,"I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping things and birds of the air. For I am sorry that I have made them.

It was the unGodly that was the pupose of the flood, it was intended to wipe out the evil that was on the earth. Here is some information about the flood, that is not in the Bible. Well it is, but you have to know how to find it.

Methuselah to Lamech-187 years.
Lamech to Noah----------182 years.
Noah to Japheth----------500 years.
Japheth to Ham--------------1 year.
Ham to Shem-----------------1 year.
Shem to flood---------------98 years.
-------------------------------------------------
Methuselah to flood------969 years.
Methuselah lived to be--969 years old.

Methuselah's death was the sign Noah needed to enter the ark.

The year 1656, was the year of the flood, what does this tell us??
The number 9 is for judgment.
The number 666 is the number of the wicked antichrist.
1+6+5+6=18. 1+8=9. 18~3=6. 6+6+6=18. 1+8=9.

The ungodly were judged in the flood, the flood was in the year 1656 ac. Arphaxad was born 2 years later in the year 1658 ac.

Genesis;9,28 & 29
. 28 - And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.

29 - So all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty year: and he died.

Noah was born in the year 1056, and 950 years later he died in the year 2006, 350 years after the flood.
1056 + 600 + 350 = 2006 years.
500+100+350= 950 years.
500+100+1+1+98+2+348=950 years.
Abraham was 58 when Noah died.
These are the times of Noah.
Adam to Arphaxad was 1658 years.

Genesis;11-10 - This is the genealogy of Shem: Shem was one hundred years old , and begot Arphaxad two years after the flood.

11 - After he begot Arphaxad, Shem lived five hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.

Shem was born in the year 1558 ac. and died in the year 2158 ac. at the age of 600.

12 - Arphaxad lived thirty-five years and begot Salah.

13 - After he begot Salah, Arphaxad lived four hundred and three years.

Arphaxad lived 438 years, he was born in the year 1658 and died in the year 2096. 1658 + 438 = 2096.

14 - Salah lived thirty years, and begot Eber.

15 - After he begot Eber, Salah lived four hundred and three years, and begot sons and daughters.

Salah lived 433 years. He was born in the year 1693 and died in the year 2126.

16 - Eber lived thirty-four years and begot Peleg.

17 - After he begot Peleg, Eber lived four hundred and thirty years, and begot sons and daughters.

Eber lived 464 years, he was born in the year 1723 and died in the year 2156.
1723 + 464 + 2156.

Eber was born 67 years after the flood, and died 500 years after the flood.
Peleg::means {divided.}

Genesis;10,25, To Eber was born two, sons; The name of one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brothers name was Joktan.

Now back to Chapter;11,18, Peleg lived thirty years, and begot Reu.

19 - After he begot Reu; Peleg lived two hundred and nine years, and begot sons and daughters.

Peleg was born in the year 1757, and died at the age of 239 years, in the year 1996 from Adam.

20 - Reu lived thirty-two years and begot Serug.

21 - After he begot Serug, Reu lived two hundred and seven years, and begot sons and daughters.

Reu was born in the year 1787, and died 239 years later in the year 2026.

22 - Serug lived thirty years, and begot Nahor.

23 - After he begot Nahor, Serug lived two hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.

Serug was born in the year 1819 and died 230 years later in the year 2049.

24 - Nahor lived twenty-nine years, and begot Terah.

25 - After he begot Terah, Nahor lived one hundred and nineteen years, and begot sons and daughters.

Nahor was born in the year 1849 and died 148 years later in the year 1997, Nahor died 1 year after Peleg died.

26 - Now Terah lived seventy years and begot Abram,Nahor, and Haran.

32 - So the days of Terah were two hundred and five years, Terah died in Haran.

Terah was born in the year 1878 after Adam, 70 years later Abram was born, this puts Abram being born in the year 1948 from Adam.

Abram was born in the year 1948, and Peleg died in the year 1996 Abram was 48 when Peleg died.

Noah died in the year 2006, Abram was 58 years old.

Shem died 150 years later at the age of 600, in the year 2156.

Shem was born 390 years before Abraham, and died 35 years after Abraham. 390+175+35=600 years.

Adam to Abraham was--1948 years.

Abraham to Egypt----------290 years.
Egypt to Exodus------------430 years.
Exodus to Jesus was----1450 years.
Jesus to the Cross----------33 years.
Adam to the Cross-------4151 years.
---------------------------------------------------
6200 years minus the 4151 years leaves us with 2049 years.
