Lesson Five

In the book of Genesis, in the 38'th verse, which is the 7'th verse of the second chapter, God tells us how man was created.

Genesis; 2-7, And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life: and man became a living being.

This was on the 6'th day of creation.

Genesis; 1-27 & 31. 27, So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him;Male and female He created them.

31 - Then God saw everything that He had made, And indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

2 Peter; 3-8 - But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years ia as a day.

Psalm; 90-4, For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it is past, and like a watch in the night.

This tells us that one day with God could be a 24 hour day or it could be a 1000 years. Which means God could have created the earth,then He created light 1000 years later He divided the waters, 1000 years later He made all the plant life, 1000 years later He created the greater light for day and the lesser -----------light for night. 1000 years after that He created the fish and birds.Then waited a 1000 years to create the plant life. and a 1000 years later He created the animals of all kinds great and small. This would be 6000 years for all the plants,fish,birds,and animals to multiply on the earth, so mankind could have dominion over them. This would give us an ample supply of food forever, that's what the earth was created for. But then again it could have been 144 hours which is 6 whole 24 hour days.

The point is God does not give us a clear time frame on the days or years before man. But He does give us away to know the time after man was created. This is how.

I'll start with:Genesis; 5, 1--32. I'll break this time frame down from one person to the next. I find this to be absolutely AWESOME.

Genesis; 5-1, This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God.

2 - He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them mankind in the day they were created.

3 - And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own image, and named him Seth.

Cain and Able were not named here, nor does the bible say how old Adam and Eve were when Cain or Able were born. That's because it didn't matter. Cain killed Able so God cursed Cain, and took him out of the Godly line.

Adam being 130 years old watched as Eve, the mother of all mankind, gave birth to Seth. This means he was 130 years old.

4 - After he begot Seth, the days of Adam were eight hundred years.

5 - So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

Adam lived 800 years after Seth was born, and he was 130 when Seth was born,Which means Adam was 930 years old when he died in the year 930 ac. {Adam creation.}

If you'll notice, God only tells us the age of each first born son, from Adam to Noah. Have you ever wondered why ???

Exodus: 13-1 & 2. 1 - Then the Lord spoke to Moses saying,

2 - "Sanctify to Me all the firstborn, what ever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and animal; it is Mine.

As you know Israel also known as Jacob came from the Godly line of Adam. The children born after the first one were not named or the year of there birth made known because it didn't matter, only the first born does.

6 - Seth lived one hundred and five years, and begot Enosh.

7 - After he begot Enosh, Seth lived eight hundred and seven years; and begot sons and daughters.

Adam being 130 when Seth was born, and Seth being 105 when Enosh was born, means Adam was 235 years old when Enosh was born. 130 + 105 = 235 years.

8 - So all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.

Seth was born 130 years after ac. and died 912 years later, in the year 1042 ac. 130 + 912 = 1042 years. Seth died 112 years after Adam did. 1042 - 930 = 112 years.

9 - Enosh lived ninety years,and begot Cainan.

10 - After he begot Cainan, Enosh lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and begot sons and daughters.

11 - So all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.

Enosh was born 235 years after Adam, and lived 905 years. So he died 1140 years after God breathed the breath of life into Adam.

Adam died 210 years before Enosh did.
235 + 905 = 1140. 1140 - 930 = 210.

12 - Cainan lived seventy years, and begot Mahalaleel.

13 - After he begot Mahlaleel,Cainan lived eight hundred and forty years, and begot sons and daughters.

14 - So all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.

Cainan was born in the year 325 ac. and died in the year 1235 ac. 305 years after Adam died.

15 - Mahalaleel lived sixty-five years , and begot Jared.

16 - After he begot Jared, Mahalaleel lived eight hundred and thirty years, and he begot sons and daughters.

17 - So all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred and ninety-five years; and he died.

Here we see that Adam was 395 years old when Mahalaleel was born, and he lived 895 years.
395 + 895 = 1290 years. 1290 - 930 = 360 years.

Mahalaleel was the first man that did not live past the 900 year span.

Mahalaleel was born in the year 395, died in the year 1290, 360 years after Adam died.
Jared was born in the year 460 from Adam.
130 + 105 + 90 + 70 + 65 = 460 years.

18 - Jared lived one hundred and sixty-two years and begot Enoch.

19 - After he begot Enoch, Jared lived eight hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.

20 - So all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years; and he died.

Now some news about Jared. This verse can be found in the Bible twice

Joshua;10-13, {" is it not written in the book of Jasher ? } & 2'nd Sam;1-18.

Now why would I bring that up ?? In the book of Jasher, it says that it was in the days of Jared that the sons of God came down and took for themselves Wives from the earth. Jared means {descending}.

Did you know that in the 666'th year of Adam that Jared would have been 206 years old and Enoch would have been 44. I don't know if this was the year or not, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was.

460 + 162 = 622 years. Enoch was born in the 622'nd year of Adams life. Enoch was born 308 years before Adam died.
930 - 622 = 308 years.

21 - Enoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Methuselah.

22 - After he begot Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and begot sons and daughters.

23 - So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.
622 + 65 = 687 years. Methuselah was 243 when Adam died.

24 - And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

Enoch was taken at the age of 365 years, he was born in the year 622 ac. which means God took him in the year 987 ac. 57 years after Adam died.

25 - Methuselah lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, and begot Lamech.

26 - After he begot Lamech, Methuselah lived seven hundred and eighty-two years, and begot sons and daughters.

27 - So all the years of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years; and he died.

Methuselah means{when I die it comes} [the flood]. He was born in the year 687 ac and died in the 1656 ac. PAY CLOSE attention here and see how true Gods word is. Methuselah was born in the year 687 ac. and lived 969 years. This means he died in the year 1656 ac. Do not forget this year 1656 ac.

28 - Lamech lived one hundred and eighty-two years, and begot a son.

29 - And he called his name Noah, saying "This now will comfort us concerning our work and the toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord has cursed.

Methuselah to Lamech---187 years.
Lamech to Noah-----------182 years.
Total time frame here is-----369 years.
Lamech was born in the year 847 ac. 56 years later Adam died.
874 + 56 = 930. Adam died 126 years before Noah was born and 726 years before Methuselah died in the year 1656 ac. Lamech was born in the year 874 and 182 years later Noah was born in the year 1056 from Adam. 874 + 182 = 1056. Noah was born in the year 1056 ac. 1056 - 930 = 126 years before Noah.

30 - After he begot Noah, Lamech lived five hundred and ninety-five years, and begot sons and daughters.

31 - So all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years; and he died.

Lamech was born in the year 874 and died 777 years later in the year 1651. This was 5 years before Methuselah died in the year 1656,

32 - And Noah was five hundred years old and begot Shem, Ham and Japheth.

Noah being born in the 1056 and living 500 years before his first begotten was born, means that Japheth was born in the year 1556, Ham in the year 1557 and Shem in the year 1558. I'll show you how I know this in Bible lesson # six. Amen and God bless.

0000-130 - Adam-died at 930 years.
0130-105 - Seth-died at 912 years.
0235-090 - Enosh-died at 905 years.
0325-070 - Cainan-died at 910 years.
0395-065 - Mahalaleel-died at 895 years.
0460-162 - Jared-died at 962 years.
0622-065 - Enoch-taken 365 years.
0666 - Adam is 666, Jared is 206, Enoch is 44.
0687-187 - Methuselah-died at 969 years.
0874-182 - Lamech-died at 777 years.
0930 - Adam dies 726 years before flood.
0987 - Enoch was taken.
1042 - Seth dies. 614 years before flood.
1056-500 - Noah died at 950 years.
1140 - Enosh dies. 516 years before flood.
1235 - Cainan dies. 421 years before flood.
1290 - Mahalaleel dies. 366 years before flood.
1422 - Jared dies. 234 years before flood.
1556 - Japheth is born. Noah is 500.
1557 - Ham is born. Noah is 501.
1558 - Shem is born. Noah is 502. Shem dies at 600 years.
1651 - Lamech dies, 5 years before flood.
