Lesson Eight
After Jesus was resurrected from the grave, many
of the saints who were dead, got up from their graves and walked into town.
They were seen by many, this was the proof that Jesus, was who He said He was,
and would do what He said He would do. This is when A.D. started.
A.D. After Death
A.D. After Deliverance
A.D. Ammo Demini
This is how we can know that Jesus is Lord. If He had
died and not risen, then there would be no A.D. I wonder how we would date
or calendars today with out the risen Savior?
From the day that Jesus was taken up to heaven, to the following
year would be 1 A.D. The first anniversary of the resurrection of Jesus and
then the saints, who had died before this time.
John;19-14, Now it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, and about the
sixth hour, and he said to the Jews, "Behold your King" .
31, Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should
not remain on the cross on the Sabbath{ for that Sabbath was a high Day} The
Jews ask Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken
away.
------------------------------When was the Passover???---------------------------------
Exodus;12-1--7,
1, Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
2, This month shall be your beginning of months;
It shall be the first month of the year to you.
3, "Speak to all the congregation of Israel,
saying: 'On the tenth day of this month every man shall take for himself a
lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a house hold.
4,'And if the household is too small for the lamb,
let him and his neighbor next to his house take it according to the number
of the persons;
5, 'Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male
of the first year, you may take it from the sheep or the goats'.
6,'Now you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then
the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight.
The sixth hour was twilight, That's why the Jews were in a hurry for Jesus
to die. It was also the 14'th day of the first month, and there were no scars
on Him, nor any broken bones.
And this is the reason for His death.
7, And they shall take some of the blood and put
it on the two door post and on the Lintel of the houses where they eat it.
11, 'And thus you shall eat it: with a belt on your waist; your sandals on
your feet, and your staff in your hand. So you shall eat it in haste.
-----It is the Lords Passover.
Now for the purpose of the shed blood of the lamb.
12, 'For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike
all the first born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast:And against all
the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment:
I Am the Lord.
13, Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and
when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be on
you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.
With out the lambs blood the Israelites would have lost their first born also,
and without the blood of Jesus, who was the Lamb of God, you'll die an eternal
death. The door way will let sin into your house. Your body is the house,God
gave your soul to live in, that is why you should cover the door post of your
heart with the blood of Christ.
Now back to the Passover on the 14'th day of
the first month. As you know God gave us a time frame of 10 days, and
on this day they would take a lamb and keep it for 4 days. This would be the
14'th day. This was the day Jesus was nailed to the cross, He was raised from
the dead 3 days later. This would be the 17'th day of the first month in the
year 4151 from Adam.
Acts;1-3, To whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many
infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the
things pertaining to the Kingdom of God. This is what happened at the end of
the 40 days, which was the 57'th day of the new year. This would be about the
27'th day into the month of Ziv or the second month.
Would you like to see something interesting?
1 Kings;6-1,And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after
the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year
of Solomon's reign over Israel, in the month of Ziv, which is the second month,
that he began to build the house of the Lord.
The month of Ziv is the month of May, This is an important thing to remember
for later lessons.
So what took place on the 27'th day in the month
of Ziv-[May]? As the Bible said this was the last day Jesus, was on the earth.
I'll use Luke;24-44-53 as a reference because of something Jesus said, and
Luke was the only one to write it down.
Luke;24-44, Then He said to them,"These are the words which I spoke to
you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were
written in the Law of Moses and the prophets and the Psalms concerning Me".
45, and He opened their understanding that they
might comprehend the scriptures.
46, Then He said to them"Thus it is written,
and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead
the third day.
47,"and that repentance and remission of sins
should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48,and you are the witnesses of these things.
49,"Behold I send the promise of My Father, upon you, but tarry in the
city of Jerusalem, until you are endued with power from on High".
50,and He led them out as far as Bethany, and He
lifted up His hands and blessed them.
51, Now it came to pass, while He blessed them that He was parted
from them, and carried into heaven.
52,and they worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem
with great joy.
53,and were continually in the temple praising and blessing
God.
According to Jesus the Law of
Moses, the Prophecies, and the Psalms must all be fulfilled, and He was raised
on the third day after He died on the cross. This would be the 17'th day and
He departed 40 days later, this would be day 57 from the first day of the first
month of the new year. Now most of you should know this,BUT,in case you don't
let me be the one to show you.
Acts;1-15, And in those days Peter
stood up in the midst of the disciples
{All together the number of names was about one hundred and twenty}, and said.
The number 120 is the number of completion.
Acts;2-1, Now when the Day of
Pentecost had fully come, They were all with one accord in one place.
2,and suddenly there came a sound from heaven,
as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house, where they were
sitting.
3, Then there appeared to them divided tongues,
as of fire, and one sat upon each one of them.
4, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit,
and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
The word Pentecost means 50 days or fiftieth day. There are 14 days
to Passover, then seven days of unleavened bread, then 50 days to Pentecost.
14 + 7 + 50 = 71. The Day of Pentecost would have been on the 71'st day of
the new year. 7 + 1 = 8. 8 is the number of resurrection.
Here's a break down of the days.
10 + 4 + 3 + 40 + 14 = 71.
So this means that after Jesus went home, it was 14 days later that He fulfilled
the promise of the Holy Spirit. This would put the Day of Pentecost on or about
June-10-4151 from Adam.
Nineteen-hundred and sixty-seven years later
on the same day, Israel won the six day war. Jesus was born in the year 4118,
2000 years later would be the year 6118. Which was the year 1967 A.D.
4118 + 33 + 1967 = 6118.
Bible Lesson # Nine will deal with the fulfillment of
Leviticus;25-8-13 and Psalm 48, and Isaiah;66,8.
Until then May God Bless you All.
