Lesson One

Matthew;24 &3, Now as He sat on the mount of Olives, The deciples came to Him privately, saying,

"Tell us ,when will these things be? And what will be the sign of your coming,And of the end of the age?

4-And Jesus answered and said to them "Take heed that no one deceives you."

5-For many will come in My name , saying, "I am the Christ ;and will deceive many.
   
23-" Then if anyone says to you , "Look here is the Christ !"or there !" do not believe it.

24-"For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders,  so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

25-" See,I have told you before hand.

Let me stop right here, and ask you a question.

What was the sole purpose of Jesus dying on the cross?

It was so me+every person in the world could have salvation, if only you would ask  for it.
If that's the case then why would Jesus say " Do not be deceived?"

Deceived about what ? His Return?

No.

He gives us so many prophecies, concerning his return that we should at least know when he is knocking on the door.
Let me show you what Paul says about knowing the times and season.

1 Thessalonians:5-1-11.
1-But concerning the time and seasons,brethren, you have no need that I should write to you .

2-For you yourself know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.

3-For when they say " Peace and safety" Then sudden destruction comes upon them.
       As labor pains upon a pregnant  woman,and they shall not escape.

4-(" But you,brethren, are not in darkness.')(so that this Day should over take you as a thief.

5- You are all sons of light and sons of the day.We are not of the night nor darkness.

6- There for let us not sleep,As others do,but let us watch and be sober.

7- For those who sleep,sleep at night,And those who get drunk are drunk at night.

8-(But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breast plate of faith and love,
         And as a helmet the hope of salvation.

9- For God did not appoint us to wrath,but to obtain salvation though our lord JESUS CHRIST.

10- Who died for us,That whether we wake or sleep,we should live together with him.

11- Therefore comfort each other and edify one another,Just as you also are doing.
      

Verse one, Paul said he should not have to write or tell us about times or seasons.We should be able to see and know it.

Verse Four,If you are a son of light,Not Darkness- son of God not a son of satan this day will not over take us as a thief in the night.
This is why we should keep ourselfs clean and sober.
     
Verse,9-10- Those who trust Christ will not see the wrath of satan(hell), Even if we are dead before He returns, or if we are still alive to see Him return.

 Here Paul is telling us we should know the times and seasons.

But what about the deception? What do you think it has to do with?

Those of us who say Jesus will return very soon, Or how about those who have put a date and time on his return are we false teachers?

 If I were satan or a false teacher I would say don't worry. We have all the time in the world.

I wouldn't go out,and have the very people I hate accept the very God I hate by telling these people Jesus will be here Monday at noon.
This would be a good way for satan to loose some souls, not gian any.
                                   
--------------- What was it,that Jesus tried to tell us about false teachers?

2-Peter-1-3
1-But there were also false prophets among the people,even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.

2- And many will follow thier destructive ways.because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed.

3- By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time judgment has not been idle, And their destruction does not slumber.
     

Many will follow those false teachers ,Jim Jones,Waco,Mormans,Jehovah witnesses. Are just a few.  Some teach you can't do this, or you can't eat that . Even after you are born agian you must eat only certain foods or you'll loose your salvation.

1 Timothy 4- 1-5.
1- Now the spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving   spirits and doctrines of demons.

2- Speaking lies in hypocrisy,having thier own conscience seared with a hot iron.

3- Forbidding to marry,and commanding to abstain from food which god created to be recieved with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

4- For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving:

5;  For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
                                   

                                  All these false teachers,Teach other ways of salvation,(Other than Jesus Christ).
                                   It's a battle for the soul of man kind.That is what the false teachers,Teach you me and others.
                                   If a man says I have a new prophetic promise from God dont believe him.

Jesus said in Luke:16-16

16-The law and prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God has been preached,  And everyone is pressing into it.

Were what? 

The law and the prophets(were) until John.---------Were what?
COP-What (were)you doing last night?
Drunk- I can't remember where we(were).  
Were is past tense, as in yesterday,  you can find all the New Testament prophecies written in the Old Testament.
They(were)prophecied first, by prophets.
The commandments (were) written before John.
All the things we need to know past- present and future has already been written they (were) written until John I'll close with this.

2 Peter 1-19-21
19-We also have the prophrtic word made more sure,which you do well to head as a light.That shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in you hearts.

20- Knowing this first,That no prophecy of scripture is of any private interpretation,

21-For prophecy never came by the will of man,but holy men of God spoke as they(were) moved by the Holy Spirit.

2-Timothy-3-15-17
15- And that from childhood you have known the Holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16- All scripture is given by inspiration of God,and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,For correction,For instruction in righteousness,

17- That the man of God may be complete thoroughly equipped for every good work                                     

I have said all this , so you would know, I am not a false teacher.
The bible says salvation is only through the blood of Jesus Christ.
We are completely dependant on him,not what you did,or can do,lest you bragg about it.
I will, in the next few weeks show you what is written in the Old testament. It will be your job to reproof,reread, and look for any errors that may be there. I will break down Gods word so even a blind man could see it,And even a deaf man could her it,And a dumb man can understand it.

I do this not to show off what I have done , but to show you ,Just how Accurate Gods word is.
I have to show you what I know because,Jesus is coming back and if I can be the reason, one lost soul is going to Heaven, Then all  this is worth it.
